Here's my interpretation of this week's IllustrationFriday theme "Communication." I started with the main shape, added houses, and it just ballooned from there. The idea behind it is that sometimes, we're so wrapped up in what we think is important that we fail to see the big picture...hence a lack of communication. I had fun experimenting with creating my own brushes to paint this one.

Woah. Thank you guys! I'm so glad you all liked this one. It means a lot to hear the feedback I've gotten. Thanks to everyone who continues to see what I'm up to. I'm honored to have been added to blogs.

I can't wait for the next topic. I really like the work that everyone is doing these days over at illustration friday and it's inspired me to try to step things up a bit. Keep up the great work guys! Thanks again!
