Here's a background from one of the shots in a handful of short animated pieces I'm directing at work. I drew and colored this one based on a layout by the talented Sean DePew.

I haven't been posting much online and I should. I'm drawing all the time but the posting has slowed...time to once again vow to change that!
Here's a sneaky little dude. He was totally rummaging around where he shouldn't have been...and he knows it!

It's been a significant amount of time since the last post, so I thought I'd do something different. Why the frame? Why the silly reflection? Why the fairy? Something different all 'round. I haven't stopped drawing, it's the posting thing I seem to have difficulty with...oh yeah, and drawing "pretty" women. Either way, life is busy! I'm wrapping up on a pilot for a kids show that I've been directing. It's been almost 9 months and this baby's ready to pop out! By the way, that has nothing to do with the picture above. I met this little lady on a bus ride back to Jersey from D.C. this past weekend. She smelled like artificial blueberries.
Still trying to figure out the practical use of oil pastels. They do however make good outlets for stress and frustration.
How many times did Mr. Pillvock ask his son to cut the grass? Clearly it was one too few.
This was made with this awesome Harmony Program, I highly recommend playing around with it!
It's all really groovy around here. Just a snippet from my sketchbook today. I hope to post more sketchbook doodles this year.
Susan was so proud to show off her new shoes, it was the first thing she bought with her first paycheck from her first job! Good for you, Susan!
My friend Chelsea Dodd is leaving Hoboken for greener pastures. I want to wish her the best in luck and life. If you have a moment, you should check out her delicious recipe book "Coffee Mug Cakes." It's pretty awesome and she did it all herself. She's very talented and deserving of your money.
Welcome to the new year. It looks like I took January off but the ideas haven't stopped coming. It's time to draw more...and I do mean more. Time to focus and challenge myself. Oh, random, thanks to my friend Eddie K. for putting one of my doodles on a shirt and sporting it this past weekend. That was flattering and trippy. I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year!

At approximately 6:42pm, Hula Hippo made a brief but memorable appearance today on the train ride home from work. He was careful not to outstay his welcome.

Here's a quick study I did for a painting I started while on vacation. More to come on this when there's something to show.
So it should be noted that I did this when I was a bit frustrated. I'm posting it today but things have definitely turned around since the day it was drawn.
Santa Claus is coming...It's not a threat, honest. Common misconception, he doesn't have a sack full of toys. He carries the presents in his hump and burps them out when he arrives under your tree.
